I relaxed 1 week ago with Silk Element Lye Mild after being 9 wks post. I noticed that my hair came out quite straight but where my ng was, the waves are still there only really loose (hard to explain). I washed on yesterday and wet wrapped. This am, I noticed the same thing only a little more defined. Don't get me wrong, my hair doesn't feel nappy per se, but feels thicker. Never had this feeling with no-lye. I also kept it on for the correct amt of time and I don't have coarse hair. So my question is, is my hair texlaxed?

Did you add anything to the relaxer?

If you still have a defined curl pattern it sounds like you're texlaxed.

That happened to me years ago, i do know what you have experienced. Thats what prompted me to read up more on Texlax info. YES, thats the status your hair is in when you still have a loose curl pattern after relaxing. Seems like it happened to you by chance however a lot of people (Like Me) texlax on purpose! I Texlax with ORS Lye Relaxer. I usually mix in a few oils and/or conditioners when i do so that it weakens the strength of the relaxer as well as adding protection to my strands. Texlaxing helped me to regain my thickens and had a big role in helping me move along with the growth.
