Texlaxed 4b/c hair

I have been lurking for quite a while now and have decided to come out of lurkdom for a moment. I often hear the ladies ask what does a texlaxer look like on 4b hair. So I decided to post some pics

The first two pictures my hair is texlaxed. The last two pictures my hair is natural. I texlax my hair not to straighten but to be better able to manage it.

How long do you leave it in for?

Thanks for sharing. Do you get similar results each time in terms of curl pattern? I have heard horror stories of inconsistency.

I get the same results each time I leave Motions regular strength (mixed with oil) in for fifteen minutes from application to rinse. I know it looks scary but here is what it looks like dry.

I used to do it years ago before ppl called it "texlaxing". This hair type 4b/c doesn't have a consistent pattern anyway so you can expect the same after you slightly relax.

this is really helpful info. i was always wondering about this before i finally bit the bullet and went natural
