Temporary Highlights

I would like to get some light highlights for the summer. My hair is jet black so light for me would be like a dark auburn. I have never had color in my hair before so I would like to try something different this summer.

I seem to remember seeing a highlights kit made by African Pride(??

) at my BSS once but I haven't seen it again. My hair will be relaxed so I am not looking for a color more like a TEMPORARY paint-on thingee.

Any sugesstions?

Of course, there is the spray-on temporary color. Then, there is the temporary color that looks like mascara and you can paint them on. These are easier to use since if you use the spray on, you can end up with a big round circle of color in your hair if you're not careful.

Oooo...word to the wise. I used AP Highlight Kit on my hair (Serengeti Gold) and it F-ed up my hair. I'm think of putting a temp color in my hair now to mask these horrible, horrible highlights. I've received compliments on them, but I don't like 'em!
