Just Curious, cuz I was at this new beauty supply store, and I as tryin on all sorts of wigs! I was going to town! Yall should of seen me!!! The lady in the store looked at me lie why is this 16 year old tryin on some wigs!
I've never worn wigs, braids, etc. BUT, the other day I was in the beauty store looking for my 1st phonytail... my eyes just kept wandering over to those stylish lil wigs... I was soooo tempted to buy one (for my lazy hair days)... but then I thought... If I came home wearing a wig, my husband would snatch it off, no doubt about it. Then, of course, I'd have to beat his
... so needless to say, I left that alone... just trying to keep my home a happy one
I wore a wig during the winter time to protect my hair from the harsh weather. It was great changing up every once in a while. My boy friend didn't like the wig, but I didn't care because it was for the good of my hair, and he really loves my hair
!!!!! So, after I explained the benefits of the wig, he just accepted it. He definitely won't accept me wearing it now
The big problem would be that it would be too hot for summer. I have one I use for fun and when I've worn it in the dead of winter my head got hot and began to itch like mad.
Yeah i've been known to wear a wig every know and then. I'll do it when i need to be reminded how my hair will look when i get it together.
I think they're a good option for anyone who desires to wear one. As long as you are comfortable with yourself, it should not be a problem. My associates used to down me, but they ironically were devoted weave wearers (which there is nothing wrong with wearing, i just said it to point out the irony).
Even as we speak, i'm wearing a wig. I have been wearing wigs on/off for about 1 1/2 years. It is my way of protecting my hair after i come out of braids but i've learned my lesson (no do during summer months- way toooo hot). I usually wear my wig after i come out of braids for about 2 weeks before i put braids back in. I protect my hair with a satin cap, and i have no breakage, no problem with wearing my wig.
Well although I liked tryin em' on...
I probably won't wear one. I will however be getting some human hair ponytails! Man! I cant wait till the summer. I gettin some micros!! I just love micros!!
I wore them all this past winter(mostly). I like the freedom they offer, and gives my hair a chance to rest. Plus, I have mine made so they look sooooo real

Some of the wigs have hair holes. The wig I have is not hot and when I scratch my scalp the whole wig doesn't move because I am actually scratching my scalp and not the wig cap.
Kisz4tj hipped (Am I telling my age w/this word?) me to Katourline Wigs at www.katourlinewigs.com Their wigs are really nice and high quality. Their shipping sucks, though.
I like wigs and have a couple. I only wear them mainly during the winter months (which is only about 2 months in Florida). It's kind of funny because I like shorter wigs, wigs that are much shorter than my hair. I would never wear a wig that's the length of my hair. I know it sounds funny, but I would think it looks too phony.
i would love to have the courage to wear wigs and also to be able to find wigs that actualy look real, but at the moment havent found ones that i actualy like...there's this girl who switches her wigs everyday to the point where i jus find myself starin at them sometimes coz they look so damn real and wud have thot they were her hair if it werent for the fact that the colours are completely different and i wanna ask where she got them but am afraid of offendin her coz u kno how some ppl are
I bought one too. But I'm too chicken to wear it to work. However, I wore it one weekend with my boyfriend around. He said it looked nice and natural. I don't know, I'll probably wear it more often in the fall/winter.
Most definitely! During the winter months when my hair was real short, I got one that was styled similar to my own hair which I wore on lazy days. Now that I'm in the awkward hair growth stage, I plan on getting a Sensationel instant weave wig. Karonica--you have to tell me your experience with them!
...but I'm too embarassed to wear it in public. It looks nice in the catalog, but when I got it in the mail the "hair" flopped over my eyes and it looks like crispy ramen noodles. It feels like plastic!
I really want to wear a headband type wig this summer so that I just do up some plaits underneath and let the hair growth go wild. I love headbands but maybe my head too big to make this work
Anybody got experience with headband wigs? How do they attach? They aren't too tight, are they? O.K. I have lots of questions. Clue me in.
I wore a short pixie wig for 2 weeks this winter and LOVED it. I would do it again but NOT in the summer, It's TOO HOT and I'd feel like my brains would fry under there. Maybe next winter I'll purchase the below wig for those "bad hair days!"
I have two and I love them both. I wear them when I don't feel like doing anything to my hair or when I am on my way to the salon and my hair looks a mess. I know they look natural because when I take my wig off at the salon, people gasp or get scared, like I'm peeling off my scalp or something....
sindee that wig looks absolutly gorgous and thats what i'm talkin bout coz i aint seen a wig that looks real enuf or nice enuff for me to feel comfortable wearing in public
