There seems to be so much foul air going on that I just wanted to share a little light. This thread is us to post something positive, whether it's our hair, a blessing, something that lifted you up today... anything. But it has to be positive.

Hope you are having a fantabulous day! Much Love.

:p

I met one of my old friends for lunch yesterday and he touched my hair and was like "Going natural, ha? It looks nice!" I was beaming for the rest of the day.

While I was taking out my braids out in the car( I know I know) my friend complimented my on my hair( even though I was feeling alittle down on my hair). She also started listening my hair advice a couple of weeks ago, like rinsing her hair in cold water, and after blow drying her hair using heat do a cold shot afterwards, and blotting the hair dry with the towel.

Thanks for this thread!!

My DH is a trip. He bet me $500 that I cannot keep my hair braided for 5 weeks - says I change hairstyles way too much. That $500 is gonna pay for my books this semester! I have 3 weeks to go.

Last night while I was moisturizing my hair he said, "you want me to help you take those braids out babe, the ones in the back look a little shabby to me." In the past I would have been all frazzled but last night I laughed him off. He aint slick.:grin:

Laugh at him ya'll.

...tell me that you love me... (sorry-- that's the first thing that popped in my head after I read the title of this thread)

You're right though-- I've sensed a lot of negativity on here. Thanks for doing this-- it's a nice change.

sweet thread.

Okay I finally gave myself a trim. It looks like I took myself back to SL stretched even though I was getting closer to APL. Oh well Im happy because there are less damaged ends and it is way more even than before. So I feel more relieved about being able to relax while my hair continues growing and not worry about the ends for a while, but Im sure a whole year or years will go by before I pick up scissors again. I dont see how people can be scissor happy and can easily snip snip on a whim lol, I still feel like I cut off progress even though I know I didn't :spinning:.
