Y'all thought I was gonna tell y'all that I heard that tea was good for conditioning your hair, didn't you?

No, I just wanted to share my relaxing day with my LHCF ladies. It's a rainy day so I'm inside with Keracare Humecto in my hair (I was in the mood for this conditioner today), plastic cap on. I also have one of those turby-twists over the plastic cap. This is a great alternative to sitting under the dryer with the conditioner.

I am drinking some Honey Vanilla Chamomile Tea (by Celestial Seasonings--it's good!) And I'm reading posts on the forum! Sometimes I don't like the fragrance of the Humecto, but it's perfect for today. It's very soothing.

Please give yourself a similar pampering soon. You deserve it!

Thanks Supergirl!

I almost had a similar day. I sat out on the terrace in the sun (yes it was warm in this Pile of Rocks today)with my new Kerastase conditioner in my hair. I had some good reading material with me too.

Pamering is a good thing!! Have you ever tried Yerba Mate' tea?

Here's a few links for you Supergirl! The last link is the one that I usually drink, that is without the stevia. I know some people who drink it with honey. If you decide to try it, get the plain one first, especially if you don't know if you like stevia. It has a strange taste.

"Yerba Mate (Ilex paraguariensis) is a small tree native to the subtropical highlands of Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina. This evergreen member of the Holly family was introduced to colonizing and modern civilizations by the Guarani Indians of Paraguay and Uruguay. The drink is brewed from the dried leaves and stemlets of this perennial tree. Yerba Mate is known as the national drink of these countries, and is consumed by millions of South Americans as a healthful alternative to coffee. This stimulating herbal beverage has the unique ability to wake up the mind without the nervousness and jitters associated with coffee. Deemed "The Drink of the Gods" by many indigenous groups in South America, and known as "the green gold of the Indios" by folks in Europe, Yerba Mate possesses a multitude of health benefits that have begun to attract the attention of American scientists and consumers."
