Hi ladies, I am really interested in trying castor oils, I see so many ladies talk about how much they love it. Can you talk to me about the properties that you like about it and what you use it for. Also, how it compares to other oils.

I use Jamaican Black Castor Oil, for me, it has thickened up my edges, I massage it into them every day and they're very thick and full...I mix it with other oils and do a full scalp massage. It only has one con, the smell makes me nauseous.

Castor oil is a wonderful, beautiful, magnificent oil. I use it to seal my ends, I use it in my summer leave-in mixture of castor and coconut oils, and honey and water, I put it on my hair after I spray on my leave-in b/c it helps to keep my hair soft & I coat my hair in it after I detangle my twist-outs.

I'm also finding that it's thickening my hair strands.

It is the thickest oil that I use. I use mainly JBCO - Jamacian Black Castor Oil through out the year.

It is great for the edges and the ends of the hair. Especially after a good cowash. I have ben using this for at least 3 years now I think.

I use JBCO also. I like how thick and luscious it is.

I like to use it on my hair at night before bunning or doing a braidout.
