This week I am taking down my micros out of my natural curly coily hair! I need hair saving tips. I want to keep as much as my hair as I can. they have been in around 6 weeks/

Don't let any water touch your hair before you have finished detangling thoroughly. Spray your hair with a good slippy detangler to make removal easier.

Patience is key!

I have been using surge and it helped my hair grow a lot.

I second detangling your hair thoroughly with condish before washing

I am going to the braid shop to take mine out. The braiders always leave all my hair intact so its worth the price to me--they even detangle

DETANGLE DETANGLE DETANGLE...and when you think you are done do it one more time. Wash your hair in sections and be patient.

The last time I took mine out I didn't detangle well nor did I wash in sections and wound up with two huge matted areas. I got very fustrated but when I took my time and remained calm I was able to work the matted area out without losing any hair at all.
