Okay, I am sad. I need to wash my tree braids, but I am scared. How do you properly wash fake hair:lol: .

I was going to try the c & g method, but here is the problem. I have this body curl stuff, and I don't want them to go away. I know how to pin curl.

Any suggestions:ohwell:

What kind of hair is it? I have tree braids in and I have Body wave stitch hair. I wash the syn. hair with the Frizz-Ease line (poo/cond/serum/creame) probably once a week. Because I have almost a years worth of un permed hair, I only wash my scalp with the Frizz-ease line the first 2-3 weeks, after that I use ORS Herbal Cleanse.

One treebraider I went too months ago, told me to use Frizz-ease line on this paticular hair because it helps it lay down and holds the curl, but I also use a couple of steam rollers to set the curls better...

I've been wearing treebraids for almost a year and get them done every 5-6 weeks....

Umm, I have CON and CHI shampoo and conditioner...will that work. Also I dont have steam rollers. What other alternatives do I have.

I'm not sure! I only used those products based on what the treebraider said. Again I have a certain type of synthetic hair and those products work wonders! and I don't always use the steam rollers, but the synthetic hair comes out soft after air drying the hair.

What kind of synthetic hair do you have? Do you have any extra of this hair around the house? if so maybe try to wash a sample and see how it air drys before you actually do the synthetic hair on your head.

Is it the hair you want to wash or your scalp? if its the scalp I would use the ORS Herbal Cleanse.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

 Umm, just my scalp.

How are your edges in the front. My braider did not braid my hair tight at all, but I do see alot of white bulbs. Please tell me when I take these out I will still have a hair line. Oh alot is about 15. Yes I counted.:ohwell:

lol... this is the 2nd time with this braider (a LHCF referral), the first time was perfect... this time she braided kind of tight and everyday I look at the front and see white bulbs. I need to go back to her next week and I will mention it.

Last year one lady braided way too tight and because I kept scratching that spot, when I took the braids out I noticed a little "cove" in my hairline from a couple of hairs missing... since I have continued to wear the tree braids and I change up the direction or style of them each time, that spot has since grown in.

Oh and my edges are rough and nappy right now...and I can't stand it... I am always tempted to relax my hair.
