I hate to toot my own horn ladies, but I just had to shout it from the rooftop: in another 4 weeks I will be wearing my hair (relaxed) down straight for the first time in 8 years. I'm really curious as to what my true length is... I haven't seen the length since Clinton was in office, lol- no, really. I've decided to do it right at the time I take my trip to London. Who knows? Perhaps I'll snag myself a British Lord. You may (or may not) be wondering why it took all these years to wear it long and strong. At first, I told myself that I would wear it up because I wanted my hair to grow faster. But I got to a point where I absolutely loved wearing up-do's and pin-ups, I very rarely wanted anything else (except for the occasional flat-twist and curly wet-set). It got to a point where my stylist could style my hair with her eyes closed, my friends got tired of asking me why I never wore my hair out, and my mother has made so many comments about my "old lady" do's, that's she's thrown her hands up about the whole matter.:whyme:

After I return back to the states I'll be sure to post a picture of me and my hair. I don't have any expectations for it lengthwise so I doubt if I'll be disappointed.

Ooooh, that is going to be sooo exciting!!!!! :D Wow, 8 years huh??!!!!! Lawd have mercy! :p

I cant wait to see pictures!!! Make sure you share!!!!

OMG, EIGHT YEARS?!?!

I can only imagine how long and strong your hair is at this point...have a wonderful time in jolly old England, can't wait to see the pics!

Wow, 8 years is a LONG time! I thought 2 months was really long for me. Have fun in London! I just went there in February, I really want to move there. Be sure to go to Picadilly Square, it's great!

Oh good. I'm looking foward to seeing it. You'll probably get a lot of attention with your hair like that. :eyebrows2 I can't believe you were able to go that long w/o checking on your length! :weird:
