I'm going on spring break in a week and will hopefully be in cornrows during that time. So what do I do about my hair's health? I'd just condition wash every time I get out of the ocean/pool but I'm worried it would build up and leave me with itchy scalp. Is rinsing good enough? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for responding

I have the generic version of it but I use it for clarifying....and it's pretty stripping. Would it harm my hair to use this everyday? And what about conditioning?

Make sure you wet your hair before you go in the pool so your hair doesn't soak up chlorine. Also, you might add a little conditioner to the braids before you go in. I did this and then after I showered and washed out my hair, I would put in a leave in conditioner. I used to swim 3 times a week and this worked for me.

Good luck and have a good time!

Good advice the pool is worse for your hair than ocean water for that just rinse out and condition well, but the pool you have to use a product to take it out, Aubrey Organics has a swimmers shampoo.
