Surgers who experienced irritation & then relaxed

Have any of you had problems with the relaxer application? My scalp is still flaking even though I stopped applying this stuff a week ago and I'm afraid to get my hair relaxed so soon even though I'm not experiencing much irritation.

Check out Boadicea's recent thread....she experienced burning in less than one minute after having relaxer on her hair...

Thanks yup that's why I started this post. I'm not sure if her burning was due to the surge so I'd liket to get feedback from others as well.
