I like it. For some, the protein in the Surge spray can leave the hair a little dry and stiff. The Woojee cream takes care of that. Leaves my hair very soft, shiny, and moisturized.

Hope this helps!

I find that it kind of dry my hair out after using it 2-3 days in a row so I have been alternating it with the Lotion
Motion #9 oil and this has been working out find.

I use Surge Revitalizer and liked the results so much that I was going to buy the woojee cream until I read the ingredients. The second ingredient is mineral oil. That is a big NO NO for me.

It is a must.Just started using this again. I'm redoing my box braids after taking out a braid I get rid of the hair that has shedded (not much about 3-4 per braid) I take a very small amount on my finger tip and smooth from the root to the ends and then redo the braid. So that it won't dry my hair I spray S-Curl.

this is straight from the bottle:

water, mineral oil, sorbitol, stearic acid, glyceryl stearate, myristyl myristate, muccopolysaccharides, cetearyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, sorbitan monooleate, hydroxyethyl, cellulose, tetrasodium EDTA, tea tree oil, olive oil, eucalyptus oil, coconut oil, shea butter, dicetyldimonium chloride, triethanolamine, DMDM hydrantoin, fragrance

It's a must. I use it with SCurl too, like LisaG said!! This way, it's very very moisturizing. At first, I thought, "Oh no, it has mineral oil", but then I realized it has to have it counter the drying effects of the protein. But using products with Mineral Oil and petrolatum are not a problem if you're shampooing or conditioner washing twice weekly. It's only when that stuff sits on your scalp for days and days at a time that it's a problem for us. When we used to be taught that we can't wash our hair but every other week, and other craziness like that, then yes, the mineral oil and petrolutum, etc. would cause problems ranging from flaky scalp, to clogged pores on the scalp - which translates into super slow growth, alopecia, and a number of other problems. But I'm sorry. I digress. It's a must!

But...............as with any Surge product. Make certain you shampoo, or conditioner wash or even at least rinse your hair every two days while using these products. This way you won't have the awful skin problems many of our LHCF'ers have had!
