I know that it's supposed to not be good to relax your hair to "bone straight", but I know that some people have hair that is just really difficult to relax even just a little and mild and regular strength relaxers just don't work. So, I'm wondering if anyone on here HAS to use super relaxers out of necessity rather than just for attaining the "bone straight" look.

No one really has to use a super. If your hairdresser is good your hair can be bone straight (if that is what you want) with a regular. I have hair that is some part 2a, some 4a and the vast majority 4b in case you are wondering.

I use to but then I guess the texture of my hair changed. I use to use Optimum no lye regular.
