My hair feels brittle in the middle of my head for some reason and I think I need to deep condition it. Ask suggestions are appreciated... Please and thank you :)

I'm relaxed... If that helps

Kenra moisturizing conditioner works great at moisturizing my hair (I'm natural though).

Let me say that I live in the desert....and I am forever on a quest for moisturizing hair products.

I'm relaxed, just so you know.

Keracare's Hydrating & Detangling Shampoo, followed up with Keracare's Humecto is great.

Any moisturizing/sulfate-free shampoo, followed up with Aussie Moist 3 minute miracle is better. (I leave the Aussie in for much longer than 3 minutes though)

Silk Dreams' Moist Shampoo, followed by Vanilla Silk Moisture Dream is the best! This is a new discovery for me, and my hair is truly moisturized. Vanilla Silk has a little bit of protein far down in the ingredient list by the way. I'm protein sensitive so I don't plan to use this more often than every other week (or less). If you have the patience for long processing delays, you may want to try it out.

I have tried many other products, but these are my winners.

I hope you get lots of suggestions!

*Like a previous poster said...I have a Sprite shower filter as well. That made a huge difference in my hair product performance.

Okay, I'm natural with a mix of 4a in front, 3c in back, 4b/c crown and wavy on the sides; all different textures but all equally parched and thirsty

I like Eden BodyWorks Peppermint Tea Tree shampoo. It's refreshimg and moisturizing and thus a staple of mine. I recently tried and loved the SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine shampoo. It left my hair feeling very soft (softer than the EBW PTT shampoo) with loads of shine, definitely a staple as well.

As for rinse out conditioners, I found both the EBW PTT and SM C&H C&S conditioners to be seriously lacking. IMO neither had any slip, softening nor moisturizing capability. They were very drying, to the point of undoing the awesome job their respective shampoos had done.
On a side note, the EBW PTT Hair Milk is a fave of mine and does what I wanted the conditioner to do.

I'm actually looking for a staple moisturizing rinse out conditioner as well. Right now I just shampoo and DC. However when I'm short on time I'll use BelNouvo Avocado and Shea Healthy Hair Conditioner. I prefer it as a leave-in but it's an okay rinse out though not as moisturizing, softening or slip-tastic as the BelNouvo Avocado & Shea Healthy Hair Milk.

My absolute favorite DC is actually a mild protein mask. It's Sweet Nature by Eddie Admire mask. This is the first and only protein mask that doesn't dry my hair out. I don't even need to follow up with a DC. It's my one stop shop for protein and moisture. I can even detangle with it. Admire has lavender essential oil so it smells like a field of lavender. I'm not big on florals but I love this DC/mask and find the fragrance calming . HTH

This conditioner was an early love that I'm going to put back into my rotation. There is a matching shampoo that works nicely. It's sulfate free. I find mine at Ulta. Had to come back and mention this winner.

Elucence moisture balance shampoo and conditioner. The price point for each is like between $8-10 and they are pH balanced. Love them!

Also relaxed. Keracare Hydrating Detangling (this is the most moisturizing shampoo I've ever used), followed by Mizani Moisturfusion Silk Cream Conditioner.

OP I would just read through the relaxed thread and see what the ladies are using in there.

This is my suggestion as well. I use both now as a natural and I used the Elucence conditioner for yearssssss as relaxed.

Hollywood Beauty Cholesterol deep conditioner. My favorite one is the carrot one so far. All shampoos seem to work the same for me so no suggestions, there. However, sulfate free shampoo will probably be less stripping to your hair.
