Does the super b complex make you gain weight or lose it or does it make your metabolism faster there for cause you to eat more???

Faster metabolism, that is certainly what happened to me...and then I ate more.

I've been taking it for 6 months, I haven't gained any weight, it may have helped speed up my matobolism, but I don't eat more because of it.

When I took the complex 2 years ago along with biotin it really sped up my metabolism and helped me lose a few extra pounds. It really didn't increase my appetite, but during that time, I was watching my diet so I had already begun to sort of *control* my appetite.

It also helped with the durability/resilience of my hair (not sure how to put it). But the best part for me was the energy.

You all did great, I'm going to try again once I lose the weight I want to lose, because my hunger pangs are vicious so when it sped up my metabolism I gave in and gained 2 pounds. The main problem was that I didn't realize it was the B-complex doing this until 2 weeks ago, so now that I know I can control my eating. The awareness helps

Well if the complex will increase my metabolism then I would want to stop taking it because I'm trying to gain some weight and I don't want this to effect that.
If I stop taking it then I definitely have to stop taking the biotin too because without the complex I will break out really bad.

wow i've been taking this for a year now. im wondering if this caused me to lose the weight i worked so hard to put on...hmm great thread

I have been losing weight lately but I never thought that the Super B Complex I've been taking had anything to do with it. :scratchch I also completely quit eating ice cream :yep: as far as my hair I was taking the Super B Complex to avoid those nasty breakouts I was getting taking Biotin by itself.

Yes it definitely does effect your metabolism causing it to burn food faster than normal that's why you get hunger feeling more often than usual. I have been trying to gain weight for the last three weeks, I have been drinking protein and high calorie shakes daily with that I have increased my calorie intake about 1000 more but still don't see any results in gaining any weight so I will stop taking it TODAY no more b complex for me and also stop taking biotin too, I don't think I need this much biotin any way, Iam getting 1500 mcg from my ultranourish hair vitamins and that's enough for me for now.
