I recently bought Sulphur 8 and massaged it into my scalp
(for the hair growth benefits), however, it turned my wedding ring black! Any idea why that happened? I got it clean again with jewelery polish, but I am still wondering about its blackening agents on jewelery.......... perhaps the manufacturers should warn us not only about should the product comes into our eyes, but also about the product, should it comes in contact with metal.........

The sulphur probably reacted with the metal on your ring, be sure not to wear your ring when using your hands to put things in your hair or wear gloves as u do not know what chemicals in the hair care products will react with your ring

Whoa! Glad it came off. I agree with pretty girl--something about the chemical properties of sulphur and gold (or whatever precious metal your ring is made of) caused a reaction.

I have actually heard of sulphur burning people from the inside out (when it's in their medications)

Thanks for the advice prettygirl- I should have been more circumspect, with that fould smell of Sulphur 8- and all that tingling/itching (perhaps a secret octopus comes out to massage the scalp, therefore the number 8- muhaha)
