No, it doesn't smell EXACTLY like Suave Coconut but the smell is very similar. The Humectant's smell has more lasting power, in my opinion! I co washed with it one day and about 3 hours later, I went to visit a friend and the first thing she commented on was how good my hair smelled.

I bought mine from BigLots and it smells pretty much the same and the texture is even the same. ?? You think I got played?

soulchild,

imo, the texture of the professionals humecant and the coconut are different. i find the humectant to be a lot thicker and more emollient, i guess, than the coconut. The coconut seems thinner and looser. For example, when I pour the coconut into my hands and then reach up to apply to my hair, most of it falls to the shower floor b/c it's so loose. With the humectant, it stays in my hand b/c it's so thick. Just my observation... Could big lots have had an old formula, maybe?

The two just seem so similiar. When I go to WalMart I'm gonna check theirs out and see if it's different than the stuff I got at BigLots. If it is then I payed too much for it since the Professionals cost more.

There is a slight difference in the fragrance. Not much. I prefer the coconut one.

I'll give the humectant one another try (only used it once) but so far, I think I prefer the coconut one overall.

i agree that they smell the same. i used the humectant for the first time on friday and i even opened up my coconut to make sure. the humectant is stronger smelling though. the textures are diff. though imo. the humectant is thicker/richer.
