Should it feel damp? I hear of women here who walk around with spray bottles. Does that mean is should feel damp throughout the whole day?

It depends on your hair texture. It could feel anything from silky to cottony to wiry (but soft). So long as your hair feels soft, and your hands glide over it, then your hair is moisturized.

No, not damp. You can carry a spray bottle around to touch up moisture. I sometimes lightly spritz mine 2 times a day. But not so much that it's very damp.

My hair usually feels kind of spongy...though my hair is wiry too.

I'm relaxed, but my daughters are natural. The best way I can describe it is "squishy"

I love taking their puffs and squeezing them, and squishing them in my hands. It's nice and soft and squishy :giggle:

OMG!!! Thanks for asking this question. Natural hair even though "Naturally" is a dryer texture from other types does not mean it must be "hard, stiff or crunchy" It should feel "fluffy" and soft, and this was before I found the boards.
