Is it possible that my hair (or anyone's hair) grows so slowly is because relaxers/chemicals have stunted my growth? I have been getting relaxers since I was 4 years old (way too young in my opinion) and I am 21 now...

Just curious to know. Since I am transitioning I wonder if my hair will start sprouting out faster without chemicals and gunk in it?

It sounds like u are talking about "Short hair syndrome". I dunno if u have it though. Was your hair healthy or was it damaged? How fast does it grow? Is ur diet healthy?

if someone leaves a reasonable amount of time between relaxers then there shouldnt be any problems. some people relax every 4 to 6 weeks, and in those cases they probably do believe that their hair growth is stunted.
