I am considering doing highlights (I have wanted them so long but was afraid to get them). Now that I am building up the courage. I wanted to know for those that are colored has that affected the length of your stretching time? I am normally a 11-12 weeker, but with possibility of dryer hair I was wondering if any of you found that you had to decrease you stretches because of the color.

I would stretch long enough that the relaxer doesnt touch those highlights.Avoiding overlapping relaxer on the highlights when you relax would be the concern. Deep con and keep those highlights moisturized. To answer your question I would say the longer the better.Less chems is always better in my opinion.

Sounds logical. So I guess if I just moisturize moisturize moisturize I should be clear and able to stretch. Thanks for the suggestion Lelee. Anyone else.
