I wash with Nourish Spa conditioner. My hair is thick so I only comb it (with denman) in the shower and I have to bun it in the shower too.

I put Coconut oil and/or shea from DIYHairCare (she's a member here and her prices are good).

I do twists sometimes, but I don't really do much to my hair. I leave it be.

My hair is thick, but the strands are fine, so I do low manipulation and put natural stuff in it.

Yes, its genetic. My mom's hair is very fine in the middle and mine is and my daughter is only 5 months, but hers is the same way. When I was relaxed, I had to wear a fishtail in the back cause I could not get my hair to stay on my head in that section.

It's holding up pretty good now. But it's still so vulnerable.

Yes! I saw the pm before I saw this! When I first met my stylist, he held up a strand of my hair and explained how fine it is. He said I have a lot of hairs but they are so fine you can hardly see one when you hold it up.

My curl is also very tight....to me anyway.

Pics of my natural texture. The second pic I have Eco styler gel, but didn't wear the style long cause my hair shrunk so much I looked like a little kid.
