Straightened hair... 5/6 months after bc

I used my yellowbird dryer, maxiglide straightener and .... blue magic grease... shoot me.

Im really bad at taking shots of my back... its a little past shoulder. I promise.

Eta: I used beyond the zone (?) Heat protectant before I blowdried.

I think my maxiglide is coming in the mail today. Any tips? Is it really worth it? I had a Chi but on my trip back from Haiti I tried to plug it in and it didn't work.

I really like the maxiglide, I use it on the highest setting with the teeth and I only do one pass!

Nice job! Did the heat protectant work well?

I feel the heat protectant worked too well, as soon as I stepped outside the humidity ( I live in south florida) just killed it.

My transition was a year. I bc'd in june.

^You look APL or close to it.

For me the true test to APL is to be able to grab a piece of hair like you are in the photo and not have to hold your head back.

I can't do that just yet. When I can, I know that I am either APL or close to it.
