Has anyone seen this infomercial???? What do you think of products like this? Personally everytime I see one it reminds me of the Rio disaster. I didn't use it--but my aunt bought it and it almost left her bald!

The one thing that really kills me in this infomercial is the black girl! Her "testimony" is so fake!

I've seen that. Someone here tried it and it did not leave their hair straight to the maxx.. it might work on caucasion type 2 hair, but not on type 4

@ inthestars:

Girl, I KNOW that product would never work on type 4 hair. First you put this 'lotion' in your hair and then comb it thru for 10 minutes. Then you blow dry it straight. If you like you can flat iron it smooth afterwards. They claim it will last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks.

I agree that the black girl's testimonial seemed so fake, and her "before" picture was totally a joke. I'm sure she didn't walk around in public with her hair looking like her "before" shot. Anyway, I spent most of my time laughing at the ten minutes I admit to watching. The co-hosts were acting like "curly" hair was the greatest horror and some of the "participants" looked better before they went "straight to the maxx."

I just saw this infomercial for the first time yesterday. I'm totally skeptical. The Rio thing definitely came to my mind too.

I was thinking the same thing. Sad.

Although I'm relaxed, I hate when people/commercials/product marketing etc. act as if curly/kinky hair is the most awful thing in the world! NOT EVERYBODY wants straight hair! I was natural for over 3 years and LOVED it! I'm not relaxed, in part because I wanted something different, and in part because I find it much more versatile for me. But I LOVE natural hair too!! You couldn't pay me to try this product! Alot of the time when I wear it down I wear in a twist out that has a wavy texture. I hate commercials like that!
