Hey Ladies! I'd like your help. So I have naturally curly, semi-fine semi-thick, shoulder length hair and got it professionally straightened for a trim about a week ago. I've been maintaining by wrapping nightly. And I'm already bored with it lol I'm always eager to see it straight but as soon as I do I'm over it.

I'm asking for suggestions on how I can give it life. It's lost some of its movement now and I'm over it just hanging straight. I was thinking some kind of fancy bun or to roller set with foam (I have curlformers, flexirods and perm rods) but it seems like all the pics and tutorials I've seen are for women with hair much longer than mine. I want it to look nice and sleek and still show some length. Is this possible? Suggestions? How do you style your old straightened hair?

I was going to suggest pin curling or flexi rods. I don't use setting lotion or foam because I like more of a loose wave. I'm the same way and get bored after a few days of straight hair.

Flexirods would be nice for some loose curls. Even a nice low ponytail.

I think this girl has around the same length as you based on the picture you posted.
