Stop Using Boundless Tresses before a relaxer???

I'm due for a relaxer soon (can't waiti for my 90 day update),and I just recently started using BT; I thought I remember reading somewhere that some of you stopped using it before applying a relaxer. Just makin' sure. Can someone pls explain. Thanks in advance.

The instructions says that you have to stop using it a week before getting a relaxer.

Does that apply,too, to other hair growth products.....specifically MegaTek??? Or is it OK to use on the scalp they way I've been doing it, up until my relaxer week?

Just to be safe, stop using any kind of growth aids a week before your relaxer.

Yes, because growth aids open up the pores of your scalp causing circulation. You don't want a stimulated scalp while apply the relaxer. I wouldn't do it if I were you. Just to be on the safe side.
