Ladies that have steamers do you also henna and If so how long do you sit under your steamer when hennaing?

I don't steam with henna anymore. The little place where the water drips into that you have to empty every now and then started to have red liquid in it. I think that it would damage the steamer in the long run.

Really? I wonder why, because I can't see how the henna would get in the water.

I think some of the little henna particles get dissolved in the steam and it gets filtered through the steamer .

I haven't tried doing henna and steam treatments.
I just use my steam for hot oil treatment and deep conditioning
