Khandi, get outta my head! I was just about to ask this b/c my hair feels mushy!!! Guess I went overboard on the moisture. :ohwell:

Yup, mushy, spongy hair= too much moisture. I think this rain and humid weather might have something to do with it too. I would wait until it clears up some and see if it feels the same way.

What method do you suggest to combat this mush?
 
I think most would say protein is the answer. But again, I would ride it out until this dang humidity subsides and then see if it is still mushy, then got to whatever hardcore protein you normally use.
 
Oh boy. I havent ever done any hard core protien treatments! I dont even own any protien unless you count Sebastian Potion #9.
 
Khandi, let us know if that fixes it. If that's the problem you should know the second you rinse it out.
 
For me that usually means I need to clarify. Usually when I clarify I do protein too.

Girl i tried the Duo Tex and I think you will like it. It worked very well. i can't wait to get back home and use it again.
