For those of you who use sponge rollers, do you use a small strip of silk or satin to cover over the sponge before you roll your hair? Years ago, we used to use toilet tissue to keep our strands from getting caught in the sponge. :lachen:It worked, though.
 
I bought sponge rollers that are silk covered from the BSS.
 
Thanks ladies! I don't roll my hair anymore; but every now and then, I look at all those rollers from my glamorous days. :yep:
 
I have satin covered ones and I also have end papers for the ones that don't. I like the ones that don't better cause they are alot firmer. It just feels like they give a tighter longer lasting curl. After I tie my hair down at night I usually put some roller in the hair left out at the back then put on my bonnet. :-)
