Split Ends

I know I should trim. But are there any techniques to trimming. After taking my braids out. I did the deep conditioning and all that stuff. Well I just trimmed like about more then one inch in some places. And it seems that I have so many split ends some may have gotten to the root or really close. What am I gonna do trim my whole head!!!!!

So do I just get someone to trim it? Cause I really need to know something. This is probably why all these years my hair has never grown. Please help!

I already did I read most of the posts. I know I have to trim my hair but do I have trim my whole head.

You can trim a little at a time. For example, if you have 3" of split ends, you can trim off 1" every month or two until you get rid of the damaged ends.
