"Split Ends" on Style Network.......venting

I am watching "Split Ends" for the first time. Watching some of the habits of the stylist in the "black" salon really irritates me.

I just watched a girl, 5 years old at most get a relaxer applied with extreme overlapping, just to get corn rows. Too make matters worse; it was the stylist grandbaby. I was horrified!

Why does a 5 year old need a relaxer just to get cornrows? If she were a 5-year-old little boy, that would not happen and he would have a head full of hair!

A prime example of why so many of our little girls do not have any hair.

I love this show!

I remember an episode where a stylist from a black salon switched places with a stylist from New York. She was trimming someones hair and she said "trimming it will make it grow longer" The owner of the NY salon was looking at her like

I love this show!

Yep, it was the same episode. And she couldn't blow dry straight hair, straight! She pulled out the flat iron and got reprimanded.

LOL! Yea, that was a funny episode. She was crawling in and out of the young stylist who COULDN'T do hair. All that spirituality talk. Now do some hair!
