1. From which country does your family hail?
Cuba
2. What's your hair type?
3c/4a
3. Do you use any hair care products/techniques from your country?
No.
4. If you've been there (or are near a lot of people from there), what are the attitudes toward type 3 and 4 hair?
You will hear the terms good hair and bad hair just like here in the states. My parents are very socially conscious and passed that down to us so that wasn't an issue in our house. My maternal grandmother is the product of a white "missionary" who spread more than the gospel and her Black mother and has 2/3a hair and to this day gets a relaxer process every 6 weeks. Then you have people who have 4b/c natural hair and wear it proudly.
