spinoff from end of the year goals. Well, because I started taking during the semester it was hard for me to keep up my hair and my homework. I decided i'll wait til the new year and start off right. I promise:)

So here are some of my 2007 NEW YEAR HAIR RESOLUTIONS:

1.Take vits consistently
2.Wash hair once a week (if i'm not doing the braid thing for a year)
3.Stick to one or two products
4.Protect ends
5. Wrap hair up at night
6.Keep hair moisturized
7. Stretch without breaking

well those were that I could think of right now. I'll be back with more probably. So, what are your 2007 hair resolutions?

Spinoff of End of the year hair goals

Well, since I started trying to take care of my hair during the semester it was hard for me to keep up my hair and homework. So I decided to wait until the new year and start off right. I promise!:D

Here are some of my New Year Hair Resolutions:

1.Take vits consistently
2.Stick to one or two products
3.Keep ends healthy
4.Keep up with regimen
5.Stretch longer
6.Keep braids in for a year (or a long time if I decide to get braids)
7.Eat right and Exercise more often

My resolutions are to basically continue doing what works for me, no matter how much temptation I have to screw it all up, so that includes:

Bunning Everyday
Baggy Overnight and while at home
No heat, period, except at touch up time to check length
No combing except on wash day under shower
Moisturizing in layers (big help!)

Just Staying Consistent so I can make Bra Strap before the end of the year!

What is C&G? Crown & Glory? is that where you wear braids for a long time??

yes, i don't know how to post the link to the site.

go to growafrohairlong

maybe somebody can post the link to the site

Continue transitioning no matter how hard it gets
Keep bunning
Apply heat every 6-8 weeks (no more than that)

You should join the 2007 head-to-toe challenge. My major resolution is going to be the watched pot challenge. You know the saying a watched pot never boils; I am putting myself on a watched pot challenge. I will do everything I can but for only 20 mins a day. Any longer and I will be obsessing. I will take ALL of my vitamins, exercise frequently, and wash and condition 1-2x a week. I will use a growth aid but only one; thats it. No obsessing, no stressing, no worrying. I will take pics every month to track my progress but I am not going to stress it. I figure if I don't watch my pot, it will start to boil like hell. We will see if I am right.

Sounds like a plan. I have so many growth aides and pills......and don't use any of it. Sad:( I know.

gurl, don't we all. This is why I have decided just to stick to one system for awhile. I have wasted so much money on stuff I don't even use.

C&G and No trims in 2007 (dusting only)

That's it. Those two are going to be hard enough.

For me:
  • Continue to moisturize my hair twice a day..night in 4 sections
  • co washing with coconut milk and suave works for my hair
  • stretch at least 8 most 12..my hair can't do more than that
  • stay on top of my treatments and weekly deep conditioning
I truly believe I will see some positive results next year. My hair is already experiencing progress.

Mine are going to be to:
* Use heat once every 6-8 weeks max!!!! Very difficult!
* Keep my ends protected for 95% of 07'
That's it for now. I think I can get far if I add these two things to my "system"

To do protective styles for full year
Keep hands out of hair
Not to wash or manipulate so often
Take vitamins consistently
CHANGE DIET-more healthy foods

Hi ladies, haven't posted in a minute!

Anyway, I've been slacking a little and not been washing my hair as much as it likes... Anyway I'd like to be doing the following religeously next year:

-Learn to trim/ dust my own hair properly or let my older sister do it.
-Follow my general regimen according to how my hair feels.
-Wear braids through the winter. Wear braids at least four months out of the year.
-Take vitamins ( Biotin, Nioxin, Flaxseed oil).
-Make it to armpit length by May/ June (vitamins, regimen, tlc)
-Baggy ends every night when not using ponytail method/ Keep hair in tucked under ponytail.

Keep my ends from getting uneven (big challenge)
Deep condition more
Do overnight oilings regularly
Cut down on heat
Keep coming and any manipulation to a minimum
Use up some of my products before I buy anymore!!!

My 2007 hair resolution is as follows:

Continue protective styes/bagging all day EVERYDAY
No HEAT
No trimming, unless I have SE
Continue my vitamins
Continue Co Washes
Not feed into what others think about MY hair's potential

By the end of 2007, I want to be Midback so staying consistent with my regimen should get me there.

 To be consistent on my weekly regimen.
 To trim once in 2007 with dusting every 3-4 months.
 Don't try any new products. The ones I have work.
 Do what's best for my hair and not what others think.
 Continue to educate my fellow LHCF and clients on healthy hair.
 To be the best Healthy Hair Specialist in Charlotte.

There are others, but these are my main goals.

Continue weekly regimen
Eat healthy
Drink alot of water
Take vitamins
Apply MTG 3X week
Moisturize 2X day
Maintain moisture and protein balance
Always wear protective styling
