I went to the BSS yesterday to get a big comb and a spray bottle cuz I am going to attempt a rollerset yet again.. :ohwell:

anyhoo..

I love Pantene Oil Sheen, and they had some in there, I was like oh wow, lemme grab that while Im in there, yo, that crap was 6.99...

That is ridamndiculous :lachen: its only 3.99 at Walmart and Tarjay..

So I decide to look at the price of the rest of their R&N prices.. Oh My Gah.. all of it was 6.99/7.99..

There is this BSS up the street from me. Their ORS Replenishing Paks are $2.50 each! The dollar store is two stores down and is selling them for $1.00. I mean seriously.

Yea I noticed this too. One day I went to the BSS and I was going to get some more Pantene R&N oil moisturizer but when I seen that price I figured I would just get it from Family Dollar.

Yeah BSS's are generally a rip off for those products you can get everywhere (like Pantene), but on other things like salon products they are usually cheaper.

The Korean BSS up the street had Elasta QP for 6.99 a jar when its $3 at "Wally world"-- same with their CON poo and conditioner-- its always a dollar more there. :look: I wonder why they do this? Maybe they don't get the mass purchasing discounts that places like WalMart and Target probably get from buying in bulk so they have to edge in a few cents just to make an equal profit? I don't know. Either way, I'm going where the deal is.

At a BSS up the street from me their Infusion 23 leave-in was $7.99. That same bottle was in Family Dollar was 5.99 with a dollar off coupon. I began to notice that alot of their products are priced considerably higher than most stores that have that same product.

True that!

You know what they are trying to do....they know how high gas is and they figured people are gonna go to the closest location to get what they need therefore they think they can take advantage of the situation.

A local BSS sells TCB Naturals No Lye Reg for $7.99. Sally only charges $4.99. What a rip!

And the ORS products are always over priced.
