Southern MD/DC Ladies: Need a Hair Cut!

I'm finally deciding to relax my hair after about 3 years of being natural and I will need a cut to go along with it. I need someone who is very skilled at cutting who will listen and not get scissor happy b/c I'm trying to keep as much length as possible. Any recommendations?
