Someone please help!!!

For some reason my hair never shows it's length unless it has freshly been straighten. My mom says that my hair is too soft so when humidity hits it (even just a little humidity) it turns into a little buff ball. Her hair one the other hand handle humidity wonderful, it just makes her hair look nicer. Me on the other hand erplexed Does anyone know what I can try??

How moisturized is your hair before you straighten?

The reason I ask is because your hair is obviously absorbing the moisture in the air when it's humid outside. I know many naturals have found that if their hair is already completely moisturized before they straighten, then there's no room for extra moisture to be absorbed...hence no fluff ball after stepping outside.

I think when Msa said moisturizing she meant dc, washing or cowashing. Moisture is water. What are you moisturizing with? Are you relaxed or natural? I havent tried it but Sabino moisture block has gotten alot of positive reviews. Maybe you should try that.

I was going to say Sabino Moisture Block as well. I've never used it, but heard nothing but rave reviews on it. Hope that helps!
