I left mine plugged in and went to work. When I came back home later that evening, I couldn't get it to work. Man I was p.o.'d.

I ended getting the VS Steam rollers for $ 22 a few days later since I was so disgusted with my Caruso for bailing on me.

Sorry couldn't give you any help.:(

that sucks, this is like a nightmare, i'm traveling and now i have no rollers and i don't want to use mu curling iron.

Should I call Caruso??

umm...if you have a warranty on it at the moment, you could. also, their technical support might be able to help

I briefly read the instructions like 3months ago so my memory is a lil fuzzy... but i remember them saying that gently cleaning the unit will help if the steam isn't as strong. It can collect mineral deposits from your water.

Once my steam was coming out weak and I just thumped the top of it with my fingers... I think there was water in the steam hole thingie which was keeping the steam from escaping.... :look:

For any one having trouble with their steam set call Helen of troy, that's the manufacturer and they will send you a new one , at least that's what they told me.
