I went to the mall today to get some things for my hair and other stuff. As I was leaving the mall this woman say hey excuse me, who did your s-curl. I told her this is my hair, she was like it is. She was shocked that this was my hair. Then she asked me what do you do just wet it. I said I wet and put gel or a leave-in or something else in it. Then she went off about how she wanted her hair like that but she don't feel like sitting under a hot dryer and if she doesn't sit in a hot house then she's definately not sitting under a hot dryer for hours. I don't know why people think blacks can't have curly hair or you have to be mixed or have a chemical in it.

I get the same reaction from some people. I even had this lady wanting to feel my scalp:eek:

yeah, when I was natural something like that happened to me. This woman broke her neck to ask me "how did you get your hair to do that?". I was like "nothing".
