Lately I've noticed my hair shedding a lot in the shower...stress...plus I need to stop messing with it and have been tempted to get a sew in for awhile so I think I'm going to crack and do a partial sew in. I need some hair suggestions.

I'm still researching which salon to go to (if anyone can point out a good one in VA, go right ahead). As for hair, I want something that will fall at/past bsl on me (I'm 5'5 if that helps) and that moves a lot...I hate how some human hair gets all stiff and dry looking after awhile...I plan on keeping it in for a good amount of time to get my money's worth so I need a type of hair that has a nice weight, is flowy, soft but not so silky that it throws off my real hair texture. Not sure about my budget on hair, but to get my hands out of my hair and some protection going on, it's worth it.

Any suggestions on hair/salons? Also, please please please include a price range with your suggestions. TIA :)

If you're relaxed you could go with a light yaki from either Extensions Plus or a chinese vendor for a more cost effective option. Virgin hair has a lot of movement to it, but depending on where you buy it from and what origin the hair is the texture varies. You could always go with an american vendor online but depending on how many bundles you get you'll be paying $300+ for at least 2. If you go with a good vendor on Aliexpress you could pay around $250 for 3 or 4 bundles of hair. If you go with Aliexpress the most popular textures are "brazilian" "malaysian" or "peruvian"...it's all either Chinese or Indian hair or a blend of the 2. A lot of people have good luck with QHP brazilian blending with relaxed hair. From my experience in regards to silkiness peruvian was the most textured blending PERFECTLY with my hair following the malaysian which was nice too but it just didn't hold a curl. The brazilian is the silkiest BUT this is all dependant on who you order from. As far as length goes I'm 5'5/5'6 and the longest I wear is 18" which falls WL on me...if you want BSL I'd go with 16" but you may have to trim the ends so the 18" will give you room for error. I either buy in lengths of 14", 16", & "18 so that it's naturally layered but I use around 3 1/2-4 bundles. For that I'll use either 2 16"s and 2" 18 or 3 18"s and 1 16". The longer the hair the shorter the weft.
