Solid coconut oil

I'm on a roll with these questions tonight. Anyways, I could only find some solid coconut oil at work, and I was wondering can you melt it down, and then put it in your hair? Or should I just order some liquid coconut oil online?!

The state of coconut oil depends on the room temperature. If it's warm the oil will be semi-solid or liquid. If it's cool or air conditioned it will be solid. It melts easily in the hand though or you can microwave it.

Yup, what they said. It doesn't take much to melt coconut oil at all. Coconut oil becomes solid when its cooler than room temperature.

Yay! I was just worried that it would resolidify in my hair and be a mess. That won't happen, right?!

That's something I never thought of. Never had it happen though.

It wont resolidify in your hair. Your body temperature will keep it liquid.

I use the solid coconut oil and it melts like butter when you rub your hands together.
