*** bad is this sulfate? It wasn't in the list of bad to not so bad sulfates on here and I was wondering. It is found in Suave for Kids Cherry Shampoo plus Conditioner, which I like, but I was still wondering about it.

SODIUM TRIDECETH SULFATE is a mild anionic surfactant imparting rapid wetting action and excellent foam quality and stability. For use in mild shampoos and shower gels. Essentially a sodium salt of sulfated ethoxylated tridecyl alcohol. An excellent wetting agent for shampoo preparations, as well as baby shampoos.

From what I see on the web, there are no indications that it is harmful. This chemical does not seem to have badd test results available. Some people maybe sensitive to it. On www.scorecard.org as a site for environmental info there is nothing bad about this chemical. SODIUM TRIDECETH SULFATE is used in a lot of products even natural products such as Jason. Oil of Olay, Johnson's baby shampoo, condoms.

Yes, I know it's in the Professional version which I use. You can find it in a lot of baby shampoos, too. I know all versions of the Johnson & Johnson baby shampoos use it. My barber had recommended it to me in trying some shampoos with sulfates a while ago.

That's absolutely right Jade. I never looked at the ingredients of Creme of Nature. I love it so much.

NTM Shampoo has it as the second ingredient (after water). I just bought it today and I can't wait to try it out. I'm new to taking care of my own hair but I'm trying!
