LIKE A MONTH AGO I DIDN'T HAVE ANY HAIR MOISTURIZER SO I MIXED SOME AMLA OIL AND A LITTLE BIT WATER WITH SOME CONDITIONER I HAD SITTING UNDER THE BATHROOM SINK AND IT CAME OUT REALLY GOOD AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS DONE THAT MY MOMMIE USED IT THE NEXT DAY AND SHE SAID WERE DID YOU GET THIS AND I SAID IT'S SOMETHING I MIXED TOGETHER AND SHE SAID YOU AND THAT DAMN HAIR SITE I JUST SMILED AT HER:) SO DO YOU LADIES THINK SHOULD JUST START DOING THAT TAKING MY FAV CONDITIONER AND MIXING IT WITH OIL AND WATER AND USING THAT AS A MOISTURIZER CAUSE I SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON THAT STUFF AND THIS WAY I CAN SAVE MONEY

If your mix truly worked for you as well as you said, then why not just stick with it for awhile? You can have extra money for other things meanwhile also. I've heard of other ladies on the board mixing conditioner, water, and oil and using it as a moisturizer.

I did something similar for a pre-poo and my hair came out incredibly soft and managable. (Although, I also washed my hair is sections for the first time as well.) I don't know which contributed to how soft my hair was, but I'll be doing both first from now on.

Hey, I stumbled onto this by accident also. I used amla oil and a watery leave in conditioner to air dry my hair. Lemme tell you my hair soft and shiny this morning.
