A friend of mine just got back from holiday in Morocco and got me some of this stuff.

Is it a pre-poo, DC, scalp treatment, for sealing, moisturizing...what? Maybe all of the above

What do you use your argan oil for? Do you mix it with anything? Break it down for me

I use it mixed with other oils as a nighttime sealant. I have also used it mixed as a hot oil treatment. I do kinda mix it with everything , it's just too expensive for me to use on its own all the time. I have used it alone on my face as a nighttime moisturizer for my dry skin, and I have it in a pomade form that I use for my cuticles and to help lay down my edges. HTH.

argan oil is fabulous!
I use mine as a sealant.
I also add a tsp to my rhassoul treatment for extra moisture :)

So it sounds like 'all of the above' was correct!

Redecourverte, I'm going to look up this Rhassoul Treatment

I use it to seal my hair when wet, after applying shea butter on my ends every night and as a night time facial moisturizer (after my himani cream). Love this stuff. It's also great on your cuticles.

I use to apply it to my scalp and massage with it than poor just a tiny bit in your palm rub it and apply to the hair as a sealent.

:bump:

I think I want to buy a bottle (Henna Sooq). Anyone else have any comments about Argan Oil? There has to be more users out there. :yep:

Henna Sooq's Argan Oil
Our cold-pressed, pure argan oil is imported directly from Morocco.
Argan oil is exceptionally rich in natural vitamin E, Omega 9, Omega 6, rich in phenols, phenolic acid, carotenes, squalene, and essential fatty acids.
The unroasted oil is traditionally used as a treatment for skin diseases, and is widely used in cosmetics.
Using the oil for hair: Omega 9 that is found in argan oil has shown to help with strengthening, and to achieve overall healthy hair. Argan oil is non-greasy and non-oily and has become popular as a hair treatment to repair and heal damaged hair. It has the ability to naturally hydrate and to help stop frizziness, fly-away and hard to control, unmanageable hair.
It is excellent for locking in moisture and improving shine and luster. Argan oil has been shown to penetrate the hair shaft and almost instantly improve follicle elasticity, and increase nourishment. It is known to able to help treat psoriasis.

Argan oil absorbs very quickly. It has a light nutty scent. The scent is not lasting, and if you'd like to, we recommend you add a touch of one of our essential oils (especially one that will benefit your hair) to your argan oil.
It is an oil for all hair types, and especially dry hair.
