My hair feels ok and is really strong. I mean, i haven't lost one, not strand since Saturday. He used this Bonacure exofoliate and repair conditioner which cost $35 each time he does it which is only every three months.

So I am using the baggy method and mixed some Gold Care Free Curl with African Royale leave-in conditioner, and water together. My hair feels really soft and I am suprised at how strong it is even when I washed it in the shower this morning and put some porosity control in it.

But he put it over the 1/4 of my head that was already relaxed because it really wasn't relaxed but he said next time I will have to get my ends cliped probably about 1/2 inch. I took some pics and will probably upload them later on this week but just wanted to let you all know what happened. I'm using MTG everyday and once that is gone I will patronize a black woman and get some BT. WOOHOO! Even though he doesn't like sulfur based products, I will clarify before I go to him.:)

I'll let you know the update of my relaxed hair being relaxed again

Well, most of my relaxer was gone from the rest of my hair and for the 1/4 part that I tried to relax it didn't really "take" I guess. I think that is why he may clip my ends. I had my hair cut the first time I went to him which will be about 8 weeks ago and next week will be about 10 weeks since my first cut.

I had this done about a year and half ago because my stylist said alot of my hair was underprocessed....I didn't experience any negative affects at all...

ooh, you know that is so good to hear. I knew that my hair couldn't have been damaged because my hair feels so strong and hasn't been breaking or anything. Don't know if it was the conditioner but I lost more hair being natural

Just do a little extra moisturizing for awhile:)

I'm confused. Is this what you wanted?

If not, why would you even consider going back? I wouldn't.

Also, I would do a Aphogee for Damaged Hair treatment just to be sure. I think that was very shiesty of him to do that. Not everyone wants bone straight hair plastered to their heads.

Did you notice him doing it while he was doing it?

you know, it isn't what i necessarily wanted but it came out great. I think this was only a one time occurence and next time, he will only apply it to my roots.

Now that i understand the chemical process involved in receiving a relaxer, I understand that all he did was open the cuticle again and further break down the curl pattern because it was frizzy.:ohwell:

So, it sounds like he was basically giving you a corrective relaxer. If you wanted bone-straight hair, this is probably why he did this. Make sure he doesn't do it again, and he should only do it on underprocessed parts, not your whole head.

Please don't think. Make sure. Please open the lines of communication with this man. He sounds like he does what he wants to do and that isn't right especially since YOU are paying.

Oh, I will definitely not let him do my whole head again. That's for sure. So, do you think my mixture posted above should be ok? what do you think i should moisturize with?
