Too bad I just dyed my hair jet black, cause now I want this color!!!!!

The color and the straightening are definitely on point!!! I never would have thought you could achieve a bold color without lightening first!

Thanks ladies, I'm really pleased with the results. I definitely didn't think the semi-permanent color would be anywhere near this bold! A few of you had questions about the straightening technique, she called it a silk press. All I know is that she gave me a deep conditioning treatment, blew it out, and went over each piece of my hair with the flat iron in only ONE pass, I was sure to ask her how many passes she was doing. And I've never had my natural hair colored before, but my hair is naturally a sandy brown so I was really hoping I would get good color payoff but I certainly didn't expect this much! I'll keep y'all posted on how the color wears off over time!

Wow, that is nice. I like the color. Very bold.

ETA: I want to know what her straightening technique was too.

Hi Froreal, thanks girl! She called it a silk press. She did a blowout and then flat ironed it using only one pass per piece of hair.
