So...I decided to convert myself to the almighty "roller set" everybody here loves; and it was a disaster!
My hair came out so thick and greasy feeling because I used some castor oil to "seal" the ends. And then when I combed it out a bit, it turned into a big fluff!!! I chalk this up (a little bit, anyway) to the fact that I really need a touch-up.
That's not even the worst part, the worst part is, that once I went through all that, over an inch of my hair to maybe three inches felt like dead hair. I was like, ":covereyesOH NO!!! I can't have all these dead ends!!!" I just had my hair trimmed a month ago, it can't be ALL dead. I felt like crying, and then chopping!
WHAT DID I DO WRONG?!!
Oh and FYI, here's what I did: I washed, oil-rinsed, conditioned, and put in Tea-tree leave-in, I used a little castor oild hair dressing on the ends, and wrapped my hair, using metal clips to secure. Do you see any problem with this? Please let me know, I'm trying to switch to a no-heat regimen!
