So I did the rinse

I used Jazzin' whatever it's called, bluest black and my hair had a slight green tint. You can't really tell it's there unless you look closely or probably in direct sunlight. Do you ladies know if it would go away? And what if I use that same rinse again would it show even more?

Many blue black rinses and hair colors have green bases. That is what you are seeing. You need to tone it with something with a red brown base to neutralize the green. Some people mix a little dark brown into the blue black rinses for that reason.

I've used Jazzing before and it didn't take the first time, it looked like a tint on my hair that could only be seen in sunlight. The second time, I did black, and it showed a little once it was dried. Of course it didn't last long. I am natural.

My sister who is relaxed is very bold with hers. :lachen: She puts it in, and gets lazy and washes hers out 5 hours later. She never washes it all the way out, and then when she dries it, it shows alot more. Don't try this at home...lol It works for her, and she still has all her bra strap length hair on her head. I think she even put lime juice on her hair once before she applied the rinse, because she heard it would help the color take better. *shrugs*

With rinses, it doesn't have bleach or peroxide, so it won't work like a permanent color does. I believe its safe to try again, but maybe someone else can clarify.

what color was your hair before?

it always shows up as black with a deep blue tint in the sun, but only because my hairs already black.

if your hair is brown or lighter then yeah the tint will show up moreso than the black in the color it can come out pretty weird

I wouldn't use jazzing blue/black on hair that's not already black. I would use another rinse that doesn't have any blue lights like Bigen or another rinse that's peroxide and ammonia free.

My hair was dark brown with highlights at the end of my hair (I was growing it out). I thought jazzing was the best but I've also heard about Bigen too.

ETA: Could I use Bigen after the rinse comes out without having crazy colored hair?

This happened to me more than once you half to mix it with very little red to neutralize the green ive herd BUT i just used a different type this was like 10 yrs ago i used somethings made by clairol it lookes like a hot oil treatment but i do not remember what it was called go to a local sally's or clarify then go over with the color below

That's the reason I stopped using Jazzing. I used to hate seeing that green tint. Especially when it starts wearing off it looks much worse.

Blue black has always gave pple a greenish tint, I never used it or wanted to because of that. Be careful with water you put over top of it depending on the base color it can make it even more greenish.

Man, i was SOOO gonna try this color and someone at the BSS stopped me. I really wanted to. Can you post a couple pictures?
