It is a wonderful product. It's been in my lineup for nearly 2 years now. That's BIG for me!

Hey, can someone help me keep up with when Trade Secret has their 2 for 1 liter sale? It's almost time to re-stock!

I agree Supergirl! This has been the one line I've been consistently sticking with since I first discovered it. Kenra hasn't let me down yet. Have you tried anything from the platinum line? I have one of the conditioners. It's the Moisturiser COlor Lock 2 with mango butter. It's sooooooo moisturizing and gives the most amazing slip.

Supergirl! It's great to hear from you, you are one of my hair inspirations. Do you use this as a deep moisturizing conditioner and do you feel that it has helped you to achieve the fabulous head of hear that you have? A lot of people seem to prefer humecto but it has mineral oil and cones, and this worked well for me. I used Humecto in the bottle and it was aight but I am not sure that I want to spen $40 to test it in a tub just to find out that that doesnt work. I tried the Deep Brilliance line and the serum was great, but I did not like the Reconstruct, Kenra MC was more moisturizing for me. Hope to hear back from you soon. All the best, Tryn2growmyhair

HI SG, I co-sign on the KCM. I use it on my daughters relaxed hair. I've never seen anything as effective at adding elasticity as the KCM. As for my natural hair, no elasiticity needed. I am considering going to a perm next month and believe me KMC will be on the top shelf.

Hey Nice,

It is "nice" to see you too! I've been around, but most times I just have time to browse and run. :) Hopefully, I will get to a point where I can hang out on the board more like I used too!

Armyqt!

Girl, you are kidding. When did the platinum line get conditioners???????!!!!!!!! Oh, it is SO on!!!!!!!!

Tryn,

I do not deep condition with Kenra. It doesn't work well for me that way for some reason. I only leave it on in the shower for like a minute and then rinse. It still does a great job even with such a short time. I wouldn't say that any product per say has enhanced my hair. I would however say that quality products are a piece of the pie. But for the most part, it is the care and handling of your hair that makes the biggest difference. I would say that not using heat is the best thing that we can do for our hair.

Okay Armyqt, I just checked out the Kenra website! Do you understand how badly I want to leave work right now to go get these???????? I am just too excited about trying these!!!!! Thanks so much for sharing ;)

Hey, Supergirl...

I guess you, like me, have been MIA (Missing in Action). Nice to see your recent post.

I just haven't had as much time to visit for long periods of time. But, I do visit from time to time.

As many of you know, I was a confirmed Kenra girl, until recently. I have been using the Keracare Moisturizing Detangling Shampoo and the Keracare Humetco Conditioner. While I would return to Kenra in a pinch, the Keracare products have been working well for me.

Thanks to the LHCF, I was introduced to both product lines.

Thanks for the tip, SG. YOU were the one who got me to get away from using so much heat and also cottoned me on to SHS. Thanks for that. I also am trying to be more gentle with me hair. Also, what would you say is your most effective deep moisturizing conditioner?

I have a couple of sample tubs of Kenra MC. It works best on my hair when left on for just a few minutes (like 3 - 5 minutes). I used it this evening. It really is a good conditioner.

When you decide to give it a try, I'd love to know how you liked it. The one I tried is very, very moisturizing and gives tons of slip. :)

Well I can't say enought about Kenra MC. It is the reason my hair came back after all that awful breakage in 03. Did I mention I have been stockpiling this product? Supergirl I am in trade secrets like every other week looking at products and replenishing the supply. I will be sure to pm you when the stuff is on sale. Don't forget to use your coupons in the meantime.

I absolutely love KMS & KMC!!! It works wonders on my natural hair-the shampoo was the first I've ever used which didn't make my hair knot up like the other shampoos! And the conditioner? I love how I can comb the conditioner through my hair with NO problems and it leaves my hair very moisturized!!!

I order my Kenra from Ebay... :)

Kendra is great I love it so much I use it for co washes and I cant say enought about the Kendra Intensive Emollient Treatment.

See, now I'm gonna have to give this Kenra stuff a try. I don't see it in every BSS I go to, though. Some of them haven't even heard of it. But it gets a lot of raves here, and to me that makes it worth trying. If I can find sample sizes, maybe that's the best way to ease into it. I always get all excited about a product, buy a huge bottle of it, then hate it because it does nothing for me. That's what happens when I'm willing to try anything that gets raves here; sometimes it works for me (NTM) and sometimes it doesn't (Redken, Biolage). I'll give it a shot. :) Because that's the only way to find out what works for me.

FANTASTIC, THANKS!

So Armyqt,

I tried the Platinum conditioner--same one you have. (yellow one right?) I liked it--I really did, but not enough for $17 for 8 oz. I didn't like it that much! But I'm glad I tried it. :)
