I'm planning to get rid of my damaged over processed ends, but I just keep putting it off!! I want to so badly but I'm so scared!! I dont know how I will look or if I will regret It big time! I honestly feel like my hair will make no progress if I keep it so I know that I have to get rid of it soon!!

I was going to get it done at the salon but I have decided to do it myself because I really dont have money to spend right now. and plus the little money I have I will need it to buy some new products to tame my new growth.. I keep rubbing my hands through it. It is soooo thick and feels so curly. I just cant wait to get rid of thes thin a@# ends!

I've already been feeling a bit depressed lately and I dont want my hair to add to it and I start feeling worse!!
uggggghhh:wallbash:

I start a new job soon..I have to call tomorrow to see when I should come for orientation. Maybe I should get that info first and cut it when I have a few days in a row off incase I need some emergency attention!!! dont want to start a new job looking JACKED UP!! LOL

we are on the EXACT same boat!! (As far as the hair is concerned).

my ends look dreadful, and i need a chop of about 4" to even everything out. but i know that no matter how nice the cut will look, and despite the fact that it'll all grow back, i'll cry my eyes out over the lost length. i started this hair journey to have long hair, not hair cuts! also, the biggest deterrent is the fact that if i cut, i won't be able to do buns anymore.

i'm holding off for now. i bought a lace front wig for when i go out on the town, and i wear my hair in a french braid every day. that probably doesn't help you much OP, but i definitely understand.

I'm in the same boat hair wise too! I fortunately don't have thin relaxed ends due to my 6 & 3 month stretches but, I'm just so anxious to meet my natural hair. I want to chop so bad, so soon. & I will *evil grin* I say chop it off!

Thanks alot...I'm just so worried that I wont know what to do with my hair once it is so short. I want to put braids in it emediately but at the same time I want to be able to pamper my hair so that I can make sure it grow back quickly and healthy... I gots the do it and soon! I just hope I dont regret it or screw up!!!

I forgot to ask about how to cut it..anyone know the easiest safest way to do it?? I dont want to screw up! I can kind of make the difference because the ends are a darker color..advice anyone?

okay so i'm back...I chopped off maybe about a inch.. but theres much more that needs to be gone but I dont think I can do it myself..
question: why do my ends still look kind of scraggly and uneven?
