So after washing some if my ends are poking out twist, can this give me splits?

I just washed my chunky Sen. Twists done with yarn and noticed on some my ends are now poking out. I am freaking out because this was supposed to be a two month protective style but I don't know if I can still do that now beacause of this. Has anyone had experience with this? I am new to twist/ braid extensions. Not my first time but still. I moisturize with a glycerin l, aloe , condish spritz 2-3 times a week and that is all. Please help.

That happens all the time when I'm in my box braids. I don't even like calling them PS's since my ends stick out and rub against my clothes. Smh I keep them in for 8 weeks anyway but I still trim once removed, which defeats the purpose of a PS to begin with. Lol

Ahhhh! No please no! I just did a big trim. I am not due for one till 2015. Anything I can do besides taking them out to try and curb the damage? How bad was your damage?

Just make sure you keep your hair moisturized. Hair sticks out all of the time. It's just part of extensions. Even if you had your own hair braided or twisted, there would be little pieces of hair that poked out.

Your hair can still stay protected. Just keep up with moisturizing and sealing.
